“A Tale of Two Dudes”
Every year, this wine is built to highlight the style of winemaking that captured both dude’s attention in their early 20’s. It is always an homage to Willow Creek Grenache and all that it has to offer. This year the Grenache portion was supported by a bit of Syrah, giving the wine some more weight and meatiness. This wine saw 50% new French Burgundy barrels, that sweetened up the palate and really tied this wine together.
This is the wine that started it all for the two dudes - our flagship.

“G2 Vineyard”
This impeccably farmed vineyard, continues to gain recognition for pumping out some of Paso Roble’s very best wines. This year was no different, and the star of the show for us was Graciano. This varietal has been building momentum in the Central Coast, for it’s robust blue fruit, powerful build, and nuanced spice. A touch of whole cluster was used in the ferment. This wine is doctored up with some mouth watering Grenache for juiciness, and a pinch of Petite Sirah. Brought up in 50% new French oak.
63% Graciano, 35% Grenache, 2% Petite Sirah, Paso Robles Willow Creek District

“James Berry Vineyard”
Like years prior, it is always special when we get to take James Berry fruit from vineyard to bottle. As is tradition, this blend is decided by Justin Smith of Saxum Vineyards, on the fly, once each harvest. We were lucky enough this year to land some Grenache, that was co-fermented with Syrah and Roussanne. This blend shows a brighter and more classic interpretation of the estate, that has been the voice for high-end Grenache in the new world from it’s inception. This wine saw 100% new French oak.
72% Syrah, 26% Grenache, 2% Roussanne, Paso Robles Willow Creek District

“Jack Creek Vineyard”
This unique and special site is planted on the western most part of the Willow Creek AVA. While Jack Creek has always been the backbone for our Grenache program, we had the opportunity to work with a newer block of Syrah. What feels like a long time coming, here is a site specific Syrah highlighting the magic of this vineyard. Bursting with youth and energy, this Syrah offers up decadent fruit, violet floral notes, cocoa, and lush tannin. Brought up in 50% new French oak, this wine is the perfect balance between coastal freshness and Willow Creek attitude.

2021 “Napa Valley Cuvée #3”
This journey of life has no shortage of surprises and if you told us a couple years back that we would be making our 3rd vintage of a Napa Valley wine, we would have laughed. We are pumped on this year’s offering, as it introduces a new site for our Syrah portion, from the Coombsville AVA. With the San Pablo Bay pushing its coastal winds up the southern part of Napa, this Syrah site is able to get ripe with black and blue fruit, while preserving wonderful acidity. Like prior years, this wine benefits texturally from Cabernet Sauvignon from the north side of the valley in St. Helena, and is brought up with a healthy portion of new French oak. Simply indulgent.
